Is this NC EOG practice really free?

Yes. All four practice tests and both study guides are completely free with no sign-up required to start. An optional email sign-up just sends you the printable kit and a heads-up when more grade levels are added.

What grades and subjects does it cover?

North Carolina End-of-Grade (EOG) practice for Grades 3, 4 and 5. Grades 3, 4, and 5 are all fully available — Reading and Math, two forms each plus study guides, with an online auto-scoring simulator and printable PDFs.

Does the online test look like the real NCTest?

Yes. The online simulator mirrors the real NCTest interface, auto-scores the test, and gives a per-standard skill breakdown so you know exactly what to review. There are also printable PDF versions with answer keys.

Hi, we're Bre & Chloe!

We live in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, where Chloe's working towards finishing out the 4th grade. She's been quite nervous about the EOGs. I wasn't sure how best to help her, and while I had a general idea of the content from homework help throughout the year, I hoped to find a solid study guide or practice exam. I was surprised that my search didn't turn up much (the state's prior-released tests she'd already gone through) and much of what we could find was stuck behind a paywall.

Outside of being a mom, I run a web and AI studio that helps small businesses in the coastal Carolinas ride the incoming digital wave with AI audits/strategy, custom web and tool builds, and AI/automated systems.
